I loved this class. It reminded me of the fact that "things" don't make us happy. It is the experiences it life which we treasure of the years. Looking back I think about so may shared experiences that make me smile. Interesting that when I think of buying things, that doesn't make me smile. Thank you for reminding me of this.

I sincerely enjoyed this class! At first, I didn't believe what was being said (i.e. more money doesn't equal happiness, brand new mansion wouldn't make you happy, etc.), but about halfway thru the course, it all started to make sense. After working on the rewirements and committing myself to them, I was amazed at how much b

Absolutely perfect! That was the best project I could ever want to join. Thank you Professor Laurie Santos! The classes were all very didactic, and the rewirements very good. Now I'll try to follow all the things I learned, because I know they will help through my whole life. Again, thank you very much! Greetings from Brazil.

Sublime is how I would describe this course. It's definitely on par with Learning How to Learn in terms of quality as a MOOC, and worth taking. Surely, your life won't change magically, but if you stick to what you learn from here, I believe the benefits will compound over time and help you become more content with yourself.

I think it should be taught in every high school. Some students may not go to university,

Also I feel the professor should write a unique kind of book that includes the background of the course (her story), life at Yale and students, the stories of the other resource people, the course itself and journal. to be sold globally,

I know I will have to circle back every so often to remind myself of the simple things I learned from this course. The timing couldn't have been better for me to take the time to do this. Thank you for breaking the course language down into very simple terms. I would love to offer the course to my high school kids for credit.

I enjoyed the course immensely. It taught me to look at what actually makes a person happy as opposed to what we think will make us happy. The ideas behind WOOP can work in a variety of ways and I believe that this course gave me helpful tools to cope with the stresses of life. Kudos to Dr. Laura Santos for a job well done

This course exceeded my expectations. The tools taught are phenomenal and should be learned by all human beings. This class is a game changer for those with little experience in self care and a great refresher for those who already have wellness practices. THANK YOU for offering this freely. What a gift it was to participate.

I liked the course because I learned things I did not know about myself and human nature in general. The discussion is backed up by a lot of studies and it is quite interesting. But as we learned, knowing is not half the battle. Practice is what make the changes permanent. It was a fun course with a great teacher. Thank you!

You will love everything about this course! It's mentally stimulating, has a fantastic presenter (a professor of psychology at Yale), and is all round great. I couldn't wait to move on each of the next sections in the course.

I would love to see a longer version of the same or a similar course, made available online as well.

For my first Coursera course, I have only gone through Week 1 and I absolutely love this. The freedom to be able to work whenever and wherever, but also have structure and a home base to get back to, is refreshing. I enjoy having access to go back to school while working a full-time job and expanding the wealth of knowledge!
