I really enjoyed this first step in the world of IT, it sounded daunting but as I progressed each week it was fairly easy to understand especially in layman terms. I did get help from online IT chat support and they were awesome and had me understand even more on why I am pursuing what I love to do.

In my opinion, this is an awesome course, despite having no background knowledge, thanks to this course I'm now able to understand all the fundamentals of IT, and I just love it. I highly recommend it, especially for those people who are starting in the IT world and giving their first steps. Thanks!

Growing up around computers, tinkering, upgrading, repairing and trouble shooting them on my own I have learned a lot. Taking this course I was surprised I still have a lot more to learn and am very happy courses like this exists. I wish we had courses and online learning like this back in the 90's.

This was an interesting certification. I was able to complete it in 3 weeks and I believe that with some determination you could possibly complete it in a similar time if not faster.

Defiantly make shore that you are not just doing it for the degree but make sure you actually understand the material.

Excellent program! If you know nothing about IT but want to start on a career path, this is the course for you. The videos are great as they take you step-by-step on a path of learning all of the basic skills you'll need to begin your IT Support Specialist career. Definitely worth signing up for.

I think this course is very nice! It was really good because I noticed that I have been solving a lot of problems in life and this IT course gives me a lot of directions to solve the clients problems too! However I found some technical problems, coursera´s team was very nice to help me solving them!

This has been a great course so far. The explanations are easy to understand, even for someone with very little tech knowledge. The written transcripts are the best because I can follow along even if I don't have sound - and it helps me to take notes. Overall, a great way to present the material.

I feel so excited to dive more into this field now, the way the first course was made and the breaking down of topics was amazing. the lecturers were professionals and their teaching technics were effective and super easy to remember. hats of for both google and Coursera for this beautiful course.

I love how this course walks you through each and every part of the experience from building a computer to how to remote into them in such an easy to understand way that it gives someone who has never done it before an ablity to feel like they can actually do this succefully...cause they ...WE CAN!

A quality, well-balanced intro to tech support fundamentals. If you are a heavy computer user for recreational/work purposes currently (I.E. lots of gaming, rec. coding, work with computers as a primary interface to your job) you will already know ~60% or more of the content covered in this course.

So far in completing 1 or the 5 required portions of the course I am extremely excited for what is to come and I am highly fulfilled with the level of information I have obtained thus far. I have encountered minor problems with loading labs but other then that, the interface operates very smoothly.

Very well structured introductory lectures. A lot of information to digest. The only detail I do not like is that there are lengthy videos of the instructors talking about there personal experience. I consider these should be optional and included at the end of the course for those who are curious.

This course is a "must-do" for anyone who is a novice and wants to get into the IT-field. The structure/context it provides to help understand IT processes is going to be very helpful for learning the more complex materials. The material is fun and the teachers are all very engaging and personable.

I am really enjoying learming more about the Linux platform. I was afraid because it used to look like a bunch of letters on a screen that made no sense to me. Now I understand what they mean by human readable instructions. Thank you for the labs, I would never have gotten any of this without them!

I really enjoyed this course. It was paced just right and I appreciated the step by step learning and how each lesson led into the next. I also liked the google virtual machine lessons that allowed me to work on Linux and learn how to build a computer without having to purchase expensive equipment.

Very good material and well done on all of the presentations. Now on to the Copt A test next. An excellent beginners' course. Thanks to everyone that participated in this course. I am on my way. God bless all of your all and now I am motivated to learn more about the wonderful world of tech.

This course helps me a lot to understand new concepts especially the hardware and the os section was very good along with all the other sections. I wish google continue to roll out more courses like this in future. These types of courses helps a lot in education and helps to build a strong career.

If you are coming from an IT background you will find the course too basic, but would be good to brush up your skills and existing knowledge.

If your background is different from IT this course covers everything you need for a starter, will be a pleasant learning trip for you. I highly recommend it

I have become aware of how a computer works and the fundamentals of how it works. I like how a single busy mother such as myself can broaden her learning in a field where there are not any in person contact during a pandemic. I appreciate this program and for the Opportunity Goodwill has given me.

Very informative, they also take it slow enough for beginners. I definitely recommend doing some extra research on your own time, but just to pass this course you really only need the content and supplemental reading they provide. It is nice to dive deeper to get a better understanding, however.

Course is great! Instructions and assignments are explained in great detail, & it will teach you the basics in no time allowing you to feel like a pro. You will learn a lot, & it is a commitment but its definitely worth it especially for anyone looking for a refresher or to learn the basics of IT.
